Synopsis

In the film Bhoothnath, Banku and his family shift into their new house called as the Nath villa. They are totally unaware that the house in which they live is inhabited by a ghost. Bhoothnath played by Amitabh Bachchan is the ghost. He is not happy with the new people staying in his house and does not know how to treat them. As the story progresses, mutual understanding and friendship grows between the Bhoothnath and Banku. The story shows the innocence, honesty and the pure love of a child.
